VATAmerica began introducing German Aviation Tax (GAT) compliance for clients benefitting from German MOT refunding shortly after German GAT Regulations were issued in 2015 providing that commercial operators including aircraft management companies were generally subject to either GAT or MOT on fuel on a transactional basis.
